The Montreux School of Business, a non-denominational private university founded in 2011, is located in the French-speaking resort town of Montreux-Territet on the Swiss Riviera. The state-of-the-art facilities of MSB are housed in a beautiful Belle Époque building that first opened its doors as a sumptuous hotel in 1904.
Accommodation
The Montreux School of Business does not have on-campus accommodations for students. However, MSB provides students with modern, fully furnished apartments, conveniently located in the town of Montreux or its surrounding areas. Two students can share an apartment if they wish.
At DU's Meyer-Womble Observatory atop nearby Mount Evans, physics and astronomy faculty and students explore everything from the mysterious eclipsing binary star epsilon Aurigae to configurations of gas and dust surrounding explosive stars.
Study-Abroad Trips
The Center for Language Studies organizes a study-abroad trip for students, adults, and business professionals. During 2 weeks, participants become acquainted with the language, values and traditions of another culture by living with host families and attending morning language classes. In the afternoon, they gain first-hand experience in international business by meeting with local entrepreneurs and visiting businesses and organizations in the area.
As Cherrington Global Scholars, DU students embark on a study abroad experience that introduces them to new cultures and different ways of thinking. Each year, students savor a variety of adventures—perhaps a camel ride in Morocco or service-learning project in Italy.
Beautiful Location
Over the centuries, Montreux, with its micro-climate, majestic snow-capped mountains, terraced vineyards, palm trees, and water sports has attracted many writers and celebritiessuch as Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Fyodor Dostoevsky, Ernest Hemingway, Charlie Chaplin, and Freddie Mercury. Montreux is also renowned for its fine restaurants, trendy boutiques, lively Christmas Market, and excellent hotel schools.
Alumnus Aaron Huey takes his camera all over the world in the interests of telling powerful stories that might otherwise be overlooked. His talk at DU's 2010 TEDx event documented the struggle of the Lakota people on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation.

GLOBAL EDUCATION
What is global education? Global education prepares students to contribute intelligently to the global community by increasing their knowledge and understanding of international development and cooperation. It also develops a broader awareness of issues related to multiculturalism and diversity.
UNIVERSITY LIFE AT MSB
At MSB, we do not provide on-campus accommodations for students. However, our housing service helps students locate a furnished apartment in Montreux or its surrounding areas. The monthly rent for a furnished studio varies between 600 and 1200 Swiss francs.
NEW! ONLINE EDUCATION
Due to distance or busy schedules, many students and working professionals find it difficult to pursue their educational and professional goals. As a solution to these problems, the Montreux School of Business provides business degree programs and language courses via a Web-based interactive learning environment.
